Major Contents: The congress was mainly to discuss
the establishment of the united revolutionary front based on
the Kuomintang-Communist cooperation. It accepted the
Resolution on the Relationship Between the Chinese Communist
Party and the Kuomintang adopted by the Communist
International on January 12 of that year and decided that
all the CPC members would join the KMT in the capacity of
individuals for the benefit of establishing the united front
of various democratic classes. The Central Executive
Committee elected Chen Duxiu, Mao Zedong, Luo Zhanglong, Cai
Hesen and Tan Pingshan to form the Central Bureau.
Chen Duxiu was elected chairman of the Central Executive
Committee.
