Unbelievable!
Can you tell the difference of the following two
front pages of the newspaper? We believe very few
can. Actually they are published in different years: the
top one was published in 2010, and the bottom one is
published in 2011.
The two snap shots show the newspaper's two front
pages on March 14, 2010 and March 14, 2011
respectively.
The
newspaper is
People's Daily (Renmin Ribao) - the official
newspaper of
the Chinese Communist Party,
the two front pages' content are reporting China's
annual
sessions of the National People's Congress (NPC) and
the Chinese People's Political Consultative
Conference (CPPCC).
Apparently
the editing board of the newspaper did nothing
change on front page layout a year later, just "copy
and paste" work -- a really lazy and safe way for
them to get approved by their boss and avoid any
possible political risks....
